As a kid I supported Ronald Reagan in the 1980s. In 1992 I supported Bill Clinton because George HW Bush sucked. In 1996 I endorsed Bob Dole for President, in 2000 I supported Bill Bradley and when he dropped out I supported George W Bush. I was apolitical to politics in the 1980s and 1990s. I became a Liberal Democrat in 2003 due to me turning against the Iraq War and becoming anti war and me seeing the Dixie Chicks being bullied for being anti war by warhawks like Denis Leary etc. For the rest of the 2000s I was anti war (which I still am today but for the reasons Mark Twain was against war not for the Lenin reasons I was against war then), hated George W Bush and his neocon Republican allies, supported John Kerry and Barack Obama, had a lot of liberal views etc.   As a Liberal,  in the 2000s, whenever a pastor or a conservative commentator came on TV and said something that went against my liberal beliefs, I would go nuts and throw my remote at the TV so to speak.  So ...

voting/elections I believe that limiting voting for people is extremely counterproductive and hasty and possibly more. I believe that both sides increasing voter turn out is the best way to make voting for more fair. I also believe that it would be cool if it became legal to have people vote as many times as they want for a candidate like how Wikipedians vote for Arbcom candidates as many times as they want in Arbcom elections each year. While I support the electoral college I believe we need a system for our country where we have a direct democracy which allows people to directly vote on things as opposed to representive democracy that we currently have (the reason I am open to direct democracy is because representive democracy is open to abuse by special interests and political influence) and where the laws of short enough for people to know what they mean.  Animal rights I am against Zoophilia and it should stay illegal forever. Science has proven that Zoophilia causes disease and death. I believe animals should be in circuses but only a somewhat few circuses in their lives then retire them to wildlife conservations. I fully support the existence of Wildlife Conservations There is nothing wrong with riding on Elephants or Camels as long as the person is light and the Elephant or Camel is in top shape and not on them for very long. I support the Calgary Stampede using live animals.  I reject Critical Animal Studies and I believe that Critical Animal studies are nonsense and garbage.  I am against hunting. It causes me severe depression and heart break seeing any animal being killed. Hunting makes me cry. I want to end hunting forever and to make it so no innocent animal is killed ever again.  Crime I am have some issues with certain aspects of criminal justice reform  I don't think most conservatives who talk about black on black violence and Black on Asian violence are racist for doing so, they are just in self protect mode, deflecting blame from whites to blacks which is childish, mean spirited and dangerous. Even if blacks do commit more crimes against Asians than whites do, confirming those facts can hurt the African American community and does nothing to unite us. I personally, refuse to blame any race or ethnicity for those crimes. We have to protect Asians from violence and discrimination (like discrimination from colleges ie Yale), playing the blame game doesn't accomplish that or anything.
